LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN - Full Time/ Overnights

Salary: $25 - 28/ hour
About the Job: As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the Emergency and Critical Care department, you will be responsible for:
- Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit
- Partnering with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
- Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
- Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events
Shift, Hours, & Compensation:
- Technicians typically work 3, 12-hour shifts per week. One overnight shift required per week.
- Compensation based on skills and experience.
About You:
- Must be licensed in the state of New York. New Graduates welcome to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills for paperless information system.
