Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Job Description

TOYO TIRE NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING, INC. is seeking Apprentice Maintenance Technicians to perform basic preventive maintenance on advanced production machinery, including robotic-driven equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Successful candidates must have a High School Diploma or Associate's degree, at least two years of mechanical experience, and knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical inclination, oil lubrication, filter change, PLCs (Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley), and AC & DC Servo drives.

The position requires working night shifts, weekends, and some holidays in a manufacturing environment that may not be climate controlled. Successful candidates must be effective learners with good problem-solving skills, high frustration tolerance, positive attitude, ability to multitask, situational awareness, work independently and in teams, and prioritize safety.

Experience

• 2 years: Maintenance of industrial equipment

Education

• High School or better
• Associates or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field (preferred)
