Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate department plans and work schedules for optimal resource utilization.
• Assist in meeting production rates, schedules, quality, and safety requirements.
• Train and develop associates while maintaining performance standards.
• Analyze data to identify causes of inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with leadmen to enhance productivity and address performance variations.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and equipment maintenance is scheduled.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions.
• Communicate goals, plans, and results to associates to drive performance.
• Direct and supervise associates to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Work towards company goals and maintain industry standards.
• Provide training on and uphold safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with hiring responsibilities.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or leadership experience, preferably in metal stamping.
• Proficiency in Stamping, Dies, and Presses operations.
• Prior work in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and team-building capabilities.

Physical Demands

• May require standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending.
• Good eye/hand coordination.
• Exposure to high noise levels from machinery.
