Job Description

The Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist at Flexential plays a crucial role in supporting the installation of physical security systems. Working closely with the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer, this position involves planning, scheduling, and overseeing installation projects and vendors, as well as managing the procurement of technology assets and labor for physical security systems. Responsibilities include configuring servers, workstations, and panels, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also entails collaboration with various stakeholders, risk management, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support physical security installations and be the main point of contact for installation issues.
  • Plan, supervise, and control security system installations.
  • Manage worksites, coordinate activities, and ensure project goals are met.
  • Design, implement, and maintain new and existing physical security systems.
  • Communicate effectively with end users and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of supervising vendors and installation projects.
  • 1-5 years of relevant technical experience with low voltage systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking, switch configuration, and security devices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adapting to new technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASIS Certification and additional experience in access control and video surveillance.
  • Knowledge of Genetec systems and network design.
  • Experience with IT certifications and relevant software applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and travel if required.

Base Pay Range

The estimated annualized salary range for this position is $86,000 - $96,000, subject to candidate's experience and qualifications.
