Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist to join Flexential. As the key support for the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and supervision of installation projects and vendors for physical security systems. Your role will involve sourcing technologies and resources, implementing, programming, and troubleshooting security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the configuration of servers, workstations, and components.
- Act as the main contact for security installations and issues.
- Plan, supervise, and oversee security system installations.
- Coordinate equipment procurement and prepare progress reports.
- Evaluate system performance and maintain technical knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Manage work sites for construction and remodeling projects.
- Provide direction to contractors and vendors to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk and enhance security measures.
- Travel as required for project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate with professionals from various fields.
- Experience managing vendors, POs, and technical projects.
- Proficiency in low voltage systems and handling security technologies.
- Familiarity with networking, system troubleshooting, and management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Independent work capability and teamwork attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASIS Certification and programming experience.
- Skills in access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
- Knowledge of network design and security software.
- Experience with Genetec systems and IT certifications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and walk, lift moderate weights, and travel occasionally.
