Job Description
We are currently looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for utilizing cutting-edge reliability equipment to analyze, predict, and prevent potential machine failures. Your role will involve daily data collection and analysis using technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic tools to ensure optimal machine performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
- Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
- Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
- Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners for repairs and maintenance scheduling.
- Detect and address air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
- Recommend immediate repairs for equipment showing noticeable issues to prevent catastrophic failure.
- Collect oil samples for laboratory analysis and maintenance planning.
- Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Initiate improvement plans to enhance manufacturing equipment lifespan.
- Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Recommend upgrades, replacements, and repairs for equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or minimum 5 years’ experience in reliability technology.
- Military experience or certifications in predictive maintenance are advantageous.
- Proficiency in root cause failure analysis and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
