Shift: Afternoons, 3 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., 3- 12 hour shifts, every other weekend
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while adhering to radiation protection principles and ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
Essential Duties:
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for radiographic and patient care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and peers.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide procedural education to patients and families.
- Contribute to department operations and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered within 6 months of hire date.
- Certification by ARRT.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
