Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis for afternoon shifts. In this role, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the highest quality images for interpretation. You will apply radiation protection principles, comply with regulations, and contribute to a patient-centered care environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire patient history and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control procedures.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
