Job Description
We are looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at Meade District Hospital. We have several full-time positions available, including day and night shifts and opportunities to work in various departments such as Pre/Post Op, Cardiac Rehab, and the Med/Surg floor. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain departmental policies, safety, and quality standards.
- Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust nursing processes accordingly.
- Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
- Supervise and support other healthcare team members.
- Ensure patient safety, privacy, and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
- Adhere to infection control practices and confidentiality policies.
- Complete mandatory education and training programs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license.
- Continuing education requirements and certifications (ACLS, PALS, CPR).
- Demonstrated ability to assess and reassess patient needs and pain levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and professionalism.
- Experience in handling OSHA risk category I situations.
