Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical suites and equipment for procedures.
- Assist in anesthesia management and monitoring.
- Provide support during surgeries and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Monitor postoperative care and maintain detailed records.
- Handle radiography and imaging procedures.
- Maintain and sterilize equipment and instruments.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding postoperative care.
- Assist in emergency surgeries and administer medications.
Basic Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Active CA-RVT license preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical and surgical experience in a Specialty Practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor anesthesia and perform necessary calculations.
- California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP).
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position on a 4/10 schedule, Monday-Thursday.
