Residential Designer
Were you the kid who grew up building entire neighborhoods out of plastic blocks? Can you now make those childhood dream-homes into reality? Drexel Building Supply has the perfect position for you! We are looking for an out-of-this-world person who has the creativity and passion to make client's dreams come true through your ability to design sensational homes.
ABOUT THE RESIDENTIAL DESIGN ROLE
- Develop concept floor plan layouts and exterior elevations.
- Transform concept floor plans/elevations into construction documents (Blue Prints).
- Comfortable with using computers.
- An absolute math wizard.
- Work directly with clients to discuss their wants/needs.
- Understand roof, truss & floor loads.
- Provide clients with exceptional service.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Detail oriented, organized, and creative.
- Experience in Revit or similar is a plus.
