Senior Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Buyer to join Premier Marine, a leading company in the marine industry. As a Purchasing Buyer, you will be responsible for planning and procuring materials, supplies, and services to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This position involves managing operational flow, analyzing data, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize processes and ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize system reports and expertise to order materials and resolve supply chain issues.
• Optimize material costs through vendor analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage key performance indicators for critical suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Expertise in Excel and proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, particularly EPICOR.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
