Trauma PI Coordinator (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator (RN) to join our team at MUSC. Reporting to the Trauma Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the process improvement program to ensure the adherence to trauma protocols and guidelines. This role involves investigating variances in patient care and system issues to maintain the standards of Level One Trauma Centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Experience in trauma care and performance improvement.
• Knowledge of the American College of Surgeons and SC DHEC requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the process improvement program for trauma patients.
• Identify and investigate variances in patient clinical care.
• Ensure adherence to trauma protocols, guidelines, and algorithms.
