We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Youth Counselor to join our team at Mount Prospect Academy in Pike, NH. As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing mentorship and support to at-risk youth, helping them thrive in a residential setting. Your commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment will contribute to shaping a brighter future for the residents under our care.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, mentorship, and crisis management for students.
• Implement social and recreational activities to engage residents.
• Deliver psychosocial education and daily living support as per treatment plans.
• Help develop residents' social and coping skills through positive relationships.
• Support residents in times of crisis and high stress with emotional stability.
• Document services and incidents promptly and professionally.
• Participate in program meetings, planning, and programmatic activities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree, 60 college credits, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license preferred, minimum age 21.
• Authorized to work in the US with satisfactory background checks.
