Diesel Mechanic/Technician C

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician C to join our team at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As a crucial member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and servicing a variety of equipment essential for transporting and handling freight.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain single and tandem axle diesel over-the-road and city tractors, diesel city straight trucks, and propane and diesel-powered industrial forklifts.
• Track work progress to ensure timely completion and meet service schedules.
• Troubleshoot and analyze component parts and systems for trucks, tractors, converter gear, and forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and system repairs as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to pass background check, and drug and alcohol tests.
• Preferred experience in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, ASE Certification.

Salary

$28.80 - $35.80 per hour.
