Job Title: Floor Tech / Utility Housekeeper

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech / Utility Housekeeper to join our team at our beautiful 65-acre retirement community in Overland Park, located just minutes from Kansas City.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $16.50 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus
Shifts Available: Day, Evening
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness through specialized equipment.
- Handle waste and ensure proper disposal.
- Assist with room/furniture setups based on work orders.
- Help with moving heavy objects/packages.
- Execute trash removal, including refuse and recycling.
- Maintain hard floor and carpeted surfaces.
Requirements
- Operate carpet care, hard floor care, and trash removal equipment safely.
- Be flexible and responsive to resident/department requests.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Safe operation of Housekeeping vehicles.
- Preferred experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable driving experience with a clean record.
