Field Trainer

Job Description

A&W Restaurants Inc. is seeking a Field Trainer to join the team. This position, reporting to the Manager of Field Training, plays a key role in implementing company standards through training and coaching. The Field Trainer will be responsible for training managers and team members of Franchise Partners in operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering positive relationships with Franchise Partners.

Essential Functions

• Execute strategic plans for operational excellence and guest service.
• Train and develop franchisees and staff on operating procedures.
• Enforce compliance with A&W Restaurant's standards.
• Ensure adherence to governmental regulations.
• Cultivate positive business relationships with Franchise Partners.
• Contribute to Restaurant Support Services team projects.
• Manage training resources and develop training materials.
• Facilitate training content during A&W University.
• Coordinate training for new restaurant openings and on-site Brand Refreshers.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Field Trainer has direct supervisory responsibility during training sessions and new restaurant openings.

Physical Demands

Large amount of travel required, standing, mobility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position, flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Travel

Up to 90% travel required within the USA.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum three years of training experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven track record in restaurant industry.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum five years restaurant industry experience.
• Minimum three years supervisory or training experience.
