FT Mechanic/Technician Apprentice

Job Description

We are hiring a FT Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join our team at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As a valuable member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment used in the transportation and handling of freight. This includes diesel tractors, forklifts, trailers, and converter gear, among others.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Track and manage work orders to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol tests.
• Prior experience in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, Welding, or related fields preferred.

Pay

$25.32-$27.30 Per Hour
