Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up merchandise for our customers in a safe and efficient manner. If you enjoy meeting new people, working independently, and providing exceptional customer service, we want you to be part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently to customers' homes.
- Inspect, set up, and verify the accuracy of deliveries and returns.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of trucks and equipment to prevent damage or injury.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules throughout the week in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
