Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join the Slumberland Furniture Delivery Team. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of merchandise to our valued customers, providing a positive and exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team in inspecting, loading, delivering, and setting up merchandise for customers.
- Conduct pre-inspections and set up merchandise accurately while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance to uphold a professional delivery service.
- Handle all trucks and equipment properly to prevent staff injury or merchandise damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
- Demonstrated work ethic, self-motivation, and teamwork.
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
