Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team full-time on weekends. As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services, delegating duties, observing patients, and providing quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies, implement changes in orders, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide quality nursing care to patients.
• CPR certification required yearly.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
