LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) - ROXBORO HEALTHCARE & REHABILITATION CENTER

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to our patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time weekend position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including physical and mental conditions.
• Notify attending physicians of emergencies and changes in patients' conditions.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as a charge nurse and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
