Job Description
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team at Slumberland Furniture as Merchandise Handlers. As a Merchandise Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and distribution of products within our warehouse. This position involves responsibilities ranging from storing and condensing merchandise to providing training to fellow employees. Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and organize merchandise within specified locations.
- Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
- Utilize the POS system to manage inventory flow accurately.
- Provide training to team members and lead by example.
- Maintain clear communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or working towards completion.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
