Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is seeking Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour. As a Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and distribution of products within our warehouse. Lead by example, you will also provide training to other employees to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Move and condense merchandise efficiently within warehouse locations.
- Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
- Utilize point of sale (POS) system for inventory management.
- Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
- Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing products.
- Provide training to team members and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with POS systems is desirable.
