Merchandise Handler - Overtime Available

Job Description

We are currently looking for dedicated Merchandise Handlers to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Merchandise Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and distribution of products within our warehouse. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise to optimize storage space.
• Handle the movement of merchandise to and from various locations, ensuring proper display, storage, or delivery.
• Utilize point of sale (POS) systems to manage inventory flow accurately.
• Inspect, tag, receive, unpack, assemble, and wrap merchandise to maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
