Shop Service Technician

Job Description

Wayne Brothers Companies is looking for a dedicated Shop Service Technician to join our team in Eagleville, TN. As a Shop Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs on a variety of equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and comply with safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment to identify service and repair needs.
• Perform maintenance services and repairs on vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment.
• Test components and systems for proper functionality.
• Follow manufacturer's guidelines for equipment maintenance.
• Document service records accurately.
• Be available for emergency calls outside normal hours.
• Ensure a safe work environment for all.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Automotive, tools, and heavy equipment maintenance experience needed.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Problem-solving and mechanical reasoning abilities.
• Valid driver's license and certifications like OSHA, ASE, and First Aid/CPR desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Working Conditions

• Work both indoors and outdoors.
• Exposure to seasonal temperatures and loud noise.
• Potential for a 40-50 hour work week and occasional out-of-town travel.
