Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring Warehouse Team Members to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently. This role involves using a forklift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Move and condense merchandise to maximize storage space.
• Transfer merchandise to and from the show floor for various purposes.
• Utilize the POS system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Unload, inspect, and receive incoming merchandise; assemble and wrap outgoing items.
• Provide training to colleagues and lead by example.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and keep management informed.
• Follow safety policies, handle equipment properly, and maintain a safe facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including grounds and building maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
