Slumberland Furniture is looking for Warehouse Team Members to join our dynamic team. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with merchandise movement and forklift operations, then this opportunity is for you.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This position involves handling merchandise movement tasks such as storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will lead by example, provide training to colleagues, and ensure accurate handling of inventory.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise within warehouse locations.
• Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for inventory management.
• Inspect, receive, and process incoming merchandise; unpack, assemble, and wrap outgoing items.
• Provide training to fellow team members and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Adhere to safety procedures to prevent damage to equipment and merchandise.
• Participate in lean practices and assist with building maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; basic math skills.
• Experience with tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license; knowledge of forklift operations is a plus.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
