Job Description

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is seeking a highly motivated and independently responsible Accountant to join its team. The selected individual should be a CPA candidate with up to two years of professional accounting experience. The role involves working directly with the general ledger, performing complex accounting tasks, and assisting in the preparation and analysis of fiscal reports.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and modify accounting procedures, systems, and policies.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing fiscal reports.
  • Interpret and follow the Fiscal Control Act.
  • Exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in completing assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Current CPA candidate.
  • Up to two years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
