Job Description

Join WesternScott Fetzer as an Acme Operator, operating multiple spindle lathe screw machines to machine metal bar stock efficiently. Be part of a dynamic team using shop packages to manufacture high-quality products and maintain calibration standards. Your role will involve setting up and running multiple machines, sorting non-conforming parts, and performing quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Use shop packages for manufacturing orders, bills of materials, routings, and part prints.
• Ensure tools and gages are within calibration dates.
• Set up and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Sort and rework non-conforming parts.
• Produce products to established quality standards.
• Participate in SQCD Board meetings.
• Perform quality checks and document preventative maintenance.
• Request raw materials for production and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Safely operate and set up production machines.
• Basic computer knowledge and math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and use measuring devices.
• High School Education or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
