Billing & A/R Specialist

Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Billing & A/R Specialist to join OnPoint Medical Group. As a Billing & A/R Specialist, you will play a vital role in the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely submission of claims, managing accounts receivable, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable collections and management, including working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process claims.
• Ensure productivity goals are met by clearing a minimum number of claims daily and keeping accounts receivable under specified timelines.
• Adhere to billing and compliance guidelines, maintain strict privacy and confidentiality protocols, and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Perform other administrative duties such as maintaining an organized work environment and delivering faxes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong computer skills and at least 5 years of healthcare experience.
• 2+ years of billing experience is preferred as well as familiarity with medical billing software.
• Customer service excellence and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality are essential.
