Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Breakfast Cook to join our Food & Beverage team at Holiday Inn Charlottesville VA. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving food in our various outlets while upholding high standards of quality, health, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Prepare food items according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Assist in kitchen cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Stock inventory and supplies as needed.
• Ensure food quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Knowledge of Safe Serving practices and Virginia laws.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable working in hot or cold environments.

Mental Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle guest complaints and disputes effectively.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Job Type

Full-time and Part-Time positions available.

Salary

Starting from $17.00 per hour.
