Complex Director of Finance

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Complex Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of the Sentinel Hotel & Dossier Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. As the Complex Director of Finance, you will oversee financial integrity, develop strategies, and ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage cash flow and communicate related issues to stakeholders.
• Coordinate budgeting processes and forecasts with the Executive Team.
• Analyze financial data to advise management on maintaining financial objectives.
• Implement financial strategies and policies for optimal resource management.
• Audit internal financial controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, conduct analysis, and provide insights for revenue enhancement and cost control.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of financial leadership and decision-making.
• Effective time management and deadline adherence skills.
