Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Work safely and champion a secure work environment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various powered equipment and road trailers, including diesel engines and mobile cranes.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks with precision and quality.
• Diagnose equipment issues accurately and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair shop and manage spare parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Mechanical aptitude and passion for equipment maintenance.
• Technical degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent demonstrated skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills for work order entry and information retrieval.
