Job Description
Doppelmayr USA Inc is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing electrical control system schematics, specifying power distributions, and working on electrical components for aerial ropeways.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement compliant control circuits.
- Provide troubleshooting support to Customer Service.
- Establish efficient design communication with colleagues in other offices.
- Ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Engage in electrical project engineering activities.
Requirements
- Proficient in PLC and relay logic control systems.
- Good understanding of AC/DC power and control circuitry.
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI software and hardware integration.
- Experience with InterCAD, E-Plan, or equivalent CAD software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work at heights in mountainous environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hydraulic system controls.
- Capability to perform safety analysis of control circuits.
- Understanding of fiberoptic cabling.
- Leadership and management abilities.
Education
- Required: BSEE or relevant engineering discipline.
- Preferred: EIT Certification, Manufacturer's Training in automation, AC/DC drive systems.
Experience
- 0-5 years in control systems engineering.
