Electrical Estimator

Job Description

We are hiring an Electrical Estimator to join Pioneer Custom Electrical Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Electrical Power Distribution and Control Equipment. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in providing accurate cost estimates for various projects related to Power Distribution and Control Equipment. Your responsibilities will involve interpreting customer specifications, analyzing materials and labor costs, preparing detailed proposals, and maintaining bid logs. You will collaborate closely with customers, engineering, and purchasing departments to ensure project success and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings.
• Analyze materials and labor costs to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bills of materials in collaboration with engineering and purchasing teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to customize designs and ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain bid logs, material cost databases, and assist with sales forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to deliver precise estimates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with ANSI, NEMA, UL, and NEC standards is a plus.
