Job Description

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking an Experienced Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our organization, the Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care and ensuring all individuals are treated with respect and equality.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
Perform both administrative and patient care duties.
Facilitate communication between patients and physicians.
Room patients and gather visit information.
Handle medication and pre-authorizations.

Requirements

Completion of a Medical Assisting program.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant.
