Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Description

Choctaw Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) Programs at Stennis Space Center, MS. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral health, human performance, and social/family programs support within the USSOCOM enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Behavioral Health Care Provider within an operational unit, attending and participating in professional activities and meetings.
• Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, couples-therapy, and other evidenced-based therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, participate in military-specific activities, and engage in clinical supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in any of the 50 states.
• Minimum of two years' experience in clinical social work post-licensure.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to comply with safety and quality assurance protocols.

Desired Experience

• Prior military or Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience is advantageous.
• Experience in a government setting, DOD, or Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred.
• Background in Substance Abuse/Disorder Treatment is a plus.

Specific Requirements

• Ability to ride on watercraft, aircraft, and other vehicles used by special operation units.
• Produce papers, reports, or presentations for publication or government-sponsored events.
