MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (CNA) - AREA DIRECTOR - LIBERTY COMMONS

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medication Technician (CNA) to join our team in the role of Area Director at Liberty Commons. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for overseeing medication administration, resident care, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions, resident assessments, and care planning.
• Coordinate medication administration and compliance with state rules.
• Supervise resident care staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure medication safety and supply management.
• Coordinate resident services with healthcare professionals and families.
• Respond to emergencies, follow infection control protocols, and maintain quality care standards.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide I or II with 3 years of supervisory experience in care facilities.
• Completion of state Medication Administration course and validation by an RN.
• Experience with geriatric and dementia care, excellent communication skills, and high school diploma.
• Ability to work well in a team, follow protocols, and ensure resident welfare and safety.
• Demonstrated professionalism, compliance with policies, and commitment to ongoing training.
