Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant

Job Description

Crystal Creamery Inc is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant. The Maintenance Manager will oversee plant maintenance operations, lead a maintenance team, ensure safety practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for our diverse Dairy processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily activities of the union maintenance team on multiple shifts.
• Provide training and professional development to the maintenance team.
• Lead and support the maintenance staff in practicing safe work methods to prevent injuries.
• Drive performance improvement in critical areas within the Maintenance organization.
• Utilize Corporate Asset Maintenance Management program and ensure high standards in maintenance work orders.
• Optimize equipment utilization through preventive/predictive repairs and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Manage R&M financial resources within the annual budget.
• Ensure equipment availability complies with client and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Supervisory experience in maintenance within a food & beverage manufacturing facility.
• Extensive knowledge of food processing equipment maintenance and technology.
• Leadership in food safety and understanding of SQF requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration systems, CAL/ARP RMP programs, HazMat, SPCC, and environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with Plant Automation/PLC programs.
• Effective communicator with a service-oriented approach.
• Understanding of financial analysis and budget management.
• Ability to work any shift.

Compensation Details: $120,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary
