School-Based Occupational Therapist (2024-2025)

We have an exciting opportunity for a School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thrive Therapies Group for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school partners and practitioners to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
• Set high expectations while tailoring support to meet individual student requirements, working closely with parents to identify essential skills for student success.
• Provide comprehensive reports to educators and conduct professional development sessions to enhance collaboration and effectiveness.
• Create and implement 504 and IEP goals, lead meetings with parents and stakeholders, ensuring student progress and support.

• Experience in diverse public school settings, valuing science, data, and human connection.
• Strong collaboration skills, setting ambitious goals and supporting others to excel.
• Responsive, empathetic, and committed to student well-being and growth.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy and active TN State license.

Bonus Points

• Experience in K-12 school-based therapy or with neurodiverse individuals.
• Proficiency in global languages like Spanish, Somali, or Arabic.
