Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join Joyce University's team in a part-time role on our Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to facility repair and general campus maintenance. Responsibilities

• Handle repair, patching, painting, and finishing tasks to maintain campus aesthetics.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors on assigned projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

Compensation
