Job Description

We are excited to offer the MRAS 2024 Summer Internship/Coop (paid) position at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry, we are dedicated to providing interns with a comprehensive experience in various areas such as Design, Engineering, Lean, Manufacturing/Production, Quality, Engineering services, and Sourcing/materials. This internship offers hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to work on challenging projects that can last between 2 months to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects that require independent decision-making.
• Develop presentations to communicate progress and best practices.
• Analyze data and potentially take on aspects of a full-time role.
• Participate in training and talent events.
• Balance multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in assignments.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Completed at least one year of college.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 24 credit hours in an engineering or related program.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and plan ahead.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Team player with interpersonal skills.
