Wilmington Eye is looking for an Optical Technician to join our team and provide exceptional service to our patients. As an Optical Technician, you will work closely with our clinic to ensure the highest quality vision care for our community.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with urgency and warmth.
• Take measurements, fit glasses, and perform minor eyewear repairs.
• Use specialized equipment to ensure accuracy and quality of eyewear.
• Provide exceptional service by understanding patient needs and explaining product features.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensary while ensuring security of company assets.
• Resolve patient issues promptly and effectively.
• Maximize sales by exploring patient needs and preferences.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of optical and retail experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• High level of productivity and technical excellence.
• Willingness to travel to different locations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
