Production Trainer

Job Description

The Production Trainer role at Bakerly Barn LLC plays a crucial part in training associates for various production positions, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, developing training programs, conducting evaluations, and continuously improving training processes.

Responsibilities

• Acclimate new hires to onboarding stages.
• Identify opportunities to enhance training programs.
• Communicate with supervisors for daily training assignments.
• Plan and develop training course objectives.
• Assess training needs and effectiveness.
• Provide effective training to improve work performance.
• Follow training program guidelines for all positions.
• Ensure completion of Qualification Cards for positions.
• Shadow and follow up with certified employees regularly.
• Promote product and packaging quality.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Maintain SQF and Food Safety practices.
• Participate actively in safety processes and activities.
• Assist in downtime tasks when not actively training.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year experience in lean manufacturing or training preferred.
• High school/GED diploma required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of HACCP and SQF.
• Understanding of safe work practices.

Physical Requirements

• Stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Handle supplies, machine parts, and tools with physical dexterity.
• Close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
