Project Engineer - Mechanical , New Berlin, WI

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC in New Berlin, WI. As a key member of the project engineering team, you will be responsible for mechanical and structural design activities to support the modification and modernization of electric overhead cranes for the Region Americas.

Principal Responsibilities

• Responsible for Legacy EOT and Portal Cranes product lines.
• Interpret customer specifications to determine project scope.
• Create equipment layouts, perform necessary calculations, and generate designs.
• Develop detailed drawings and work instructions.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, design execution, and budget performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electric cranes or similar industrial equipment.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
