Job Description

We are hiring a Part-time Resident Monitor/Security for Weekend Shifts at Glover House within the Wisconsin Community Services organization. This position involves monitoring and supervising adult male ex-offenders in a correctional residential setting and community environments. Key responsibilities include maintaining accountability, ensuring safety and security compliance, conducting office tasks, and working collaboratively with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents in various facility areas.
• Enforce house rules and safety procedures.
• Perform security checks and administrative duties.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in corrections or related fields preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Clearance of background checks, physical exam, and drug screening.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in an adult correctional halfway house setting, requiring mobility throughout the facility and the ability to respond to emergencies promptly. Physical demands include climbing stairs, remaining alert during shifts, and performing First Aid and CPR.
