Job Description

Wisconsin Community Services is seeking a Security- Resident Monitor II to join Parsons House Reentry Services team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising adult offenders in a correctional residential setting and ensuring adherence to security protocols and life safety measures. The position also involves performing general office duties and may require shifts between different facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise adult offenders in a correctional residential setting.
• Ensure adherence to security, life safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Perform general office duties including greeting visitors, managing supplies, and sorting mail.
• Conduct surveillance checks inside and outside the facility.
• Enforce house rules and program expectations, reinforcing positive behaviors and imposing sanctions when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in corrections or related security preferred.
• Clearance of Caregiver, State, and Federal background checks required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to de-escalate crisis situations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security equipment.
