2nd Shift- Fabricator

Job Description

Veritas Steel LLC is looking for dedicated Fabricators to join our team at the Eau Claire location. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, drilling, and grinding bridge girder components with precision and expertise. You will work with welding operations, assembly tasks, and ensure high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Produce fillet and groove welds using various processes such as SMAW, SAW, and FCAW.
• Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in fabrication; welding experience is a plus.
• Commitment to work safety and adherence to company policies.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work at heights, and follow safety protocols.
• Willingness to learn, contribute to team success, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Working Conditions

• Work in indoor warehouse environments and outdoor conditions with exposure to various elements.
• Use safety gear such as glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots as needed.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment.
