Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join Bmore Technology on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our management team by handling various clerical and administrative tasks related to financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong numerical aptitude and be proficient in bookkeeping practices.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
- Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Enter financial transactions into QBO and generate financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in cash flow management.
- Review and verify employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
- Support financial analysis tasks, including budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audits.
- Assist with sales tax submissions and vendor license reconciliation.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- High school diploma and minimum 3 years of related experience required.
