Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join Bmore Technology on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our management team by handling various clerical and administrative tasks related to financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong numerical aptitude and be proficient in bookkeeping practices.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Enter financial transactions into QBO and generate financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in cash flow management.
  • Review and verify employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
  • Support financial analysis tasks, including budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audits.
  • Assist with sales tax submissions and vendor license reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma and minimum 3 years of related experience required.
